Meijer Inc. is seeking a front-end protection teammate to deter theft and ensure safety in-store. You will engage with customers at entry and exit, validate receipts, and recover unpaid merchandise while maintaining a welcoming shopping experience.

You bring 1–2 years of customer service or asset protection experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills. The role involves walking, standing, and lifting up to 25 lbs, with opportunities for development and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service or asset protection experience.
• Clear written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to move throughout the work area for long periods.
• Ability to respond to alerts quickly and de-escalate conflicts.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Actively identify and quickly resolve unsafe conditions and situations.
• Prevent theft through active presence and engagement with customers entering and exiting.
• Respond to alerts urgently to check receipts, recover unpaid merchandise, and resolve alarms.
• Document and communicate theft, safety, and alarm activity incidents.
