Job summary

Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown Kansas City Crossroads is seeking a detailed, outgoing Guest Services Representative for the 2pm-10pm shift. You will check guests in and out, handle requests with urgency and empathy, process payments, and maintain accurate reservations, while supporting other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of customer service experience, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year of customer service experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to cultivate a productive team that embodies PEACH.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where priorities are constantly changing.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service while checking guests in and out.
• Be a guest advocate by responding to requests and concerns with a sense of urgency and empathy.
• Process payments for guests and make necessary changes/updates to their accounts.
• Enter and update reservation information in the system.
• Collaborate with other departments to communicate information about room availability and status.
• Maintain the front desk ensuring the area is clean, welcoming, and organized.
• Close and balance room accounts.
• Run, print, and distribute various reports.
• Make adjustments to accounts as needed.
