Job summary

Sunriver Resort is seeking a Night Auditor to manage nightly front desk operations and assist with cashiering and accounting to provide accurate day-end information. You will handle check-ins/check-outs and guest issues, while upholding Sunriver Resort standards and delivering exceptional service.

The role requires prior hospitality experience and a customer-service mindset, with the ability to stand for long periods and handle nightly tasks in a dynamic resort environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred.
• At least one year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Registers guests in system, verifies registration, address and card info.
• Posts guest and room charges to folios and ledgers accurately.
• Reviews nightly room revenue reports for accuracy.
• Maintains ledgers in in-balance condition.
• Sends and balances charges on a nightly basis.
• Accepts payments at registration and checkout.
• Keeps accurate room availability records.
• Answers guest calls and transfers as needed.
• Balances all daily reports for the resort.
• Protects assets by following internal controls.
• Provides general resort information to guests.
• Offers warm welcome and farewell with guest name and eye contact.
• Receives and routes guest correspondence.
• Resolves guest problems with empowerment when manager is unavailable.
• Follows proper check-in procedures.
• Performs nightly F&B audit and updates Golf POSI reports.
• Keeps up-to-date knowledge of resort amenities and events.
• Interacts with staff professionally and assists other departments.
• Upsells resort services and amenities.
• Maintains professional demeanor at all times.
• Communicates pertinent information to Front Office Manager and Front Desk Managers.
• Follows procedures on posting, charges, refunds, and safe deposits.
• Maintains awareness of safety issues and reports incidents.
• Acts responsibly towards company property and equipment.
• Maintains a professional appearance per dress code.
• Remains alert, courteous and helpful to guests and colleagues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
