Job summary

Sunriver Resort is seeking a Night Auditor to manage nightly front desk operations and assist with cashiering and accounting to ensure accurate day-end information.

This role requires delivering exceptional guest service, upholding AAA Four Diamond standards, and maintaining Sunriver Resort’s culture of trust and commitment. Night shifts include check-in/out, guest inquiries, and coordination with other departments.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality experience preferred.
• At least one year customer service experience required.
• Must have excellent phone etiquette.
• Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift and lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

He/She/They assist with coordinating cashier and accounting functions to provide the accounting department with accurate day end information. The Night Auditor is also responsible for the front desk duties, including check-in, check-out and any other guest issues that arise during the night shift. He/She/They will maintain the AAA Four Diamond Standards.

The Night Auditor will always conduct themself in manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Commitment, and Open and Honest Communication. Responsibilities

• Registers guests into computer system, verifying registration, address and credit information
• Assists with the accurate and timely posting of guest and room charges to guest folios, ledgers and city ledgers
• Reviews room revenue reports for accuracy and completeness
• Maintains ledgers in an in-balance condition
• Responsible for sending credit card charges and balancing charges on a nightly basis
• Accepts payment for guests’ accountants both at the time of registration and check out
• Maintains accurate records of room availability
• Answers incoming guests calls and transfers appropriately
• Balances all daily reports for the resort
• Protects assets by ensuring adherence to internal control policies and guidelines
• Provides general resort information for guests
• Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of Sunriver Resort including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guest
• Accepts incoming guest correspondence and transmits appropriately
• Resolves guest problems and is empowered to act in absence of manager
• Follows proper check-in procedures
• Performs nightly Food & Beverage audit and updates Golf POSI reports
• Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events
• Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
• Up sells other resort services and amenities to guests
• Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
• Communicates all pertinent information to the Front Office Manager and Front Desk Managers
• Follows set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits and refunds
• Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to on-duty supervisor.
• Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipment.
• Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Sunriver Resort dress code standards.
• Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all times
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred
• At least one year customer service experience required
• Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
• Must have valid US Driver’s License and meet resort driving standards
• Must have excellent phone etiquette
• Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
• Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking;
• Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs with assistance;
• Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reachingoccasionally.
• Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis;
• While primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat);
• Must be able to climb stairs occasionally, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat).
