Job summary

SJB Hotels Inc. invites you to join our Courtyard by Marriott property as a Guest Service Agent. Youll be the friendly face greeting guests, handling check‑in/check‑out, and resolving on‑the‑spot issues to ensure memorable stays.

Youll also assist with reservations, share local tips, and keep front desk operations smooth and secure. You should be guest‑oriented, calm under pressure, and ready to provide excellent service while working as part of our hospitality team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; hospitality/customer service experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, teammates and supervisors.
• Basic math and computer skills for reservations, payments, and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and assist with check-in/check-out.
• Handle guest requests and resolve issues to ensure a great stay.
• Manage bookings, changes and cancellations while maximizing occupancy.
• Share local knowledge on attractions, dining and events.
• Maintain guest safety by following hotel protocols and protecting personal information.
• Assist with daily reports, inventory and maintaining a welcoming public areas.
