Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Mystic/Groton is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be guests' first contact and manage registrations, reservations, and information about rooms, rates and amenities. You will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for all guests.

Responsibilities include checking in/out guests, handling online and phone bookings, verifying payment data, and coordinating with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready. Strong customer service and excellent communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role.
• Experience with hotel reservations software or PMS.
• Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.
• Manage online and phone reservations.
• Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data.
• Register guests collecting necessary information (contact details and dates).
• Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms.
• Provide information about hotel, rooms, rates and amenities.
• Respond to client complaints in a professional manner.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and ready.
• Confirm group reservations and arrange services for VIPs and events.
• Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate.
• Maintain records of bookings and payments.
