Job summary

DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Melbourne Beach Oceanfront in Indialantic, FL is seeking a Front Desk Agent to provide warm, efficient check-in/out and guest service. You will manage reservations, answer inquiries, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure a seamless stay.

The role requires strong communication, basic PMS skills (Opera/Maestro preferred), and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Multilingual abilities and hospitality certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience in hospitality or front desk is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with property management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Manage check-in and check-out using the property management system.
• Handle reservations, cancellations and modifications accurately and promptly.
• Respond to inquiries via in person, phone or email with accurate information.
• Resolve guest complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and process payments/receipts.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Ensure front desk area is clean, organized and stocked with supplies.
• Adhere to hotel policies, procedures and safety regulations.
