FedEx Freight in North Platte, NE is seeking a dock worker to transport freight across the dock and load it to trailers. Starting pay is $21.17 per hour with a 1600-2200 shift.

You will operate forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck, verify freight documentation, and secure cargo inside trailers. Responsibilities include documenting transactions, assisting customers, performing hostling duties if needed, and ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.

• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.

• Transport freight across dock area to/from trailers for loading to trailers.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and hand truck as needed.
• Verify documentation matches freight description using current system.
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps or rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight when necessary.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Assist customers with freight and freight documentation.
• Perform hostling duties if required.
