Job summary

Lago Mar Properties in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a PM Food Server to provide friendly food and beverage service, take and deliver orders, and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include checking station setup, greeting guests, recording and inputting orders in POS, delivering meals, and adhering to liquor regulations. Replenish beverages and upsell desserts as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Education: Any combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Experience: No prior experience required; hospitality experience preferred.
• Licenses or certificates: CPR/First Aid training preferred.
• Grooming: Neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.

Responsibilities

• Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner, explain specials and promotions.
• Record details of orders, repeating to guests for accuracy.
• Input orders into the POS to inform kitchen of order details.
• Retrieve, lift and deliver orders to guests, comply with liquor regulations for minors and intoxicated guests.
• Replenish beverages and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
• Market and serve desserts or specialty coffees upon request.
• Present checks promptly.
