Job summary

Lago Mar Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Food Server to take and deliver orders with friendly, courteous service to ensure guest satisfaction. You will greet guests, explain specials, input orders into the POS, and deliver meals with proper condiments and accuracy.

Prior hospitality experience is not required; CPR/First Aid training is preferred, and strong English communication and neat grooming are expected in a flexible, full‑time role.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards and etiquette.
• Ability to read, write and speak English to understand menus and communicate with guests.
• Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver customer orders accurately and promptly.
• Input orders into POS and inform kitchen of order details.
• Greet guests, explain specials and promotions, and check guest satisfaction.
• Replenish beverages and present the check promptly.
• Adhere to liquor regulations regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
