Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring Floor Techs in a full-time, permanent role. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour with shifts from 5:00pm to 1:30am in a fast-paced environment focused on safe, high-quality floor care and space maintenance.

Responsibilities include cleaning, scrubbing, waxing floors, moving items safely, and reporting hazards to supervisors. Prior floor care experience is preferred; KBSPresence clock-in/app use is required.

Qualifications

• Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds each.
• Read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Demonstrate good dexterity with hands and wrists.
• Ability to climb ladders and use stairs safely.
• Work well in a team and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout, etc.
• Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas using equipment and chemicals.
• Move large furniture and objects while following safety guidelines.
• Follow manufacturer specifications for preparing chemicals and using equipment.
• Report to Supervisor any repairs, hazards, or needed service.
• Keep janitor closet neat, clean, and organized.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
