Job summary

The Auto Club Group (ACG) is seeking a Fleet Dispatcher in Pompano Beach, FL to dispatch emergency roadside assistance calls and coordinate with fleet personnel. You will use a computer aided dispatch system, read maps, and guide field teams to locate members and customers efficiently.

Responsibilities include monitoring calls, resolving issues, explaining actions to customers, processing payments when needed, and assisting teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and percentages.
• Experience resolving customer concerns and issues.
• Ability to prepare written communications and respond to customer inquiries.
• Basic knowledge of geography and ability to provide directions.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills for phone/in-person interactions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor dispatched calls and take action to resolve service issues.
• Handle driver/customer escalations per procedures.
• Provide explanations to customers and document service issues.
• Close service requests using the dispatch system.
• Accept payment from members/customers when needed.
• Reconcile and resolve basic payment issues and maintain records.
• Assist coworkers and less-tenured dispatchers.
