Job summary

CBRE Union Stationary Engineer in Mountain View, CA is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and repairing building systems—mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire safety and HVAC—to keep facilities safe, efficient and compliant with codes.

You will perform preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and inspections onsite at a large technical company, with a Monday–Friday 5pm–2am schedule, collaborating with teams and applying CBRE’s safety standards.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal certification is required.
• High school diploma or trade school with related experience.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assemble, install, maintain, and repair building systems and provide system support.
• Conduct routine checks on safety devices and address issues.
• Track and implement technical innovations and developments.
• Monitor meters, gauges, and computerized controls.
• Document relevant events related to maintenance and operation.
• Explain complex information and coach others within the function.
• Lead by example and collaborate with teams to reach agreements.
