Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Sunnyvale seeks a Union Stationary Engineer to maintain and repair building systems including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire safety and HVAC, ensuring safety and energy efficiency. The role supports preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and inspections onsite at a large social technology company in Sunnyvale.

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday, 10:30am-7pm. Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs and meet physical requirements; strong MS Office skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assemble, install, maintain, and repair building systems.
• Conduct routine checks on safety devices and correct issues.
• Track and implement technical innovations and developments.
• Monitor meters, gauges, and computerized controls.
• Obtain manual control of equipment for adjustments.
• Document events and facts about maintenance and operation.
• Apply knowledge to complete complex tasks and provide solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across multiple disciplines.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
• Inform stakeholders and explain difficult information.
