Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Union Stationary Engineer in Sunnyvale to perform maintenance, repair, and ongoing care for building equipment and systems. You will participate in preventive maintenance and repairs as part of Engineering and Technical Services.

You will plan and execute installations, monitor controls, and document all events. The role requires shifting thinking, sharing expertise, and guiding teammates to uphold CBRE RISE values while supporting diverse customer needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs or more and to climb stairs/ladders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assemble, install, maintain, and repair building systems.
• Conduct routine checks on safety devices and correct issues.
• Document maintenance events and system changes.
• Monitor meters, gauges, and computerized controls.
• Apply knowledge to accomplish assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge within the function.
• Lead by example and collaborate to reach agreements.
• Impact customer, operational, and project activities within teams.
