Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Union Stationary Engineer to maintain and repair building systems for a large AI campus in Menlo Park. The role covers mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire safety and HVAC, with preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and inspections on a Monday–Friday schedule.

You will document maintenance activities, monitor controls, and mentor others while upholding CBRE RISE values and delivering reliable facilities services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Willingness to meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting 50+ lbs).
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assemble, install, maintain, and repair building systems; provide system support and knowledge.
• Conduct routine checks on safety devices and correct issues.
• Track and implement technical innovations and developments.
• Monitor meters, gauges, and computerized controls; adjust equipment as needed.
• Document maintenance events and equipment operation for records.
