Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN required within 60 months or 5+ years RN experience
• Current RN license (Arizona or compact state)
• BLS certification required
• Stroke/unit-specific certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per ANA standards and ethical codes
• Record patient history, administer medications and IV therapy
• Develop, implement and evaluate individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on illness, home care, and medications
• Mentor staff and precept new hires
