Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts on-site maintenance supervisor role supporting the Director of Engineering on a PM shift. You will perform hands-on maintenance, coordinate projects, and ensure quick guest issue resolution to maintain high satisfaction.

Responsibilities include overseeing preventative maintenance, logging work, procuring supplies, and supervising a team of 5+ staff while ensuring safety procedures and Omni systems knowledge are applied.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in upscale hotel or resort engineering.
• Experience supervising a team of 5+ employees.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC and pool knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Customer service oriented with guest interaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Engineering with preventative maintenance logs, scheduling, and project assignments.
• Procure supplies and issue purchase orders.
• Maintain CARE and PRP programs and inspect rooms after work.
• Manage Synergy application daily for planning and updates.
• Review work orders and assign work by priorities.
• Maintain inventories of heat, light, power and repair supplies.
• Respond to guest requests.
• Coordinate Engineering staff on shift.
• Assume full responsibility for the Engineering Department in the Director's absence.
• Understand Omni's fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation.
• Understand Omni's systems and services procedures.
