Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in the United States seeks a skilled maintenance team member to manage day-to-day F&B operation upkeep, stewarding processes, and inventory controls. The role covers equipment PMs, boiler and utility systems, and coordination with contractors to ensure safety and cleanliness across dish rooms, kitchens, and bars.

Candidates should have hotel maintenance experience and be able to handle emergency responses, heavy lifting, and reading schematics.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience required, hotel experience and training preferred.
• Minimum of two years hotel and/or commercial building maintenance required.
• One year of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment experience is required; refrigeration experience a plus.
• Experience responding to emergency situations is required.
• Good communication, attention to detail, time management, and guest satisfaction skills are required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; ability to crawl for short periods; bend and reach overhead.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Knowledge in electrical systems, low voltage controls, plumbing and gas; experience reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete equipment PMs.
• Operate and maintain boiler and other vessels for hot water and climate systems.
• Assist mechanics and external contractors with repairs of hotel property and equipment.
• Repair and maintain commercial kitchen, laundry equipment, and related systems.
• Repair and maintain swimming pool and pool equipment.
• Complete all assigned work orders and daily tasks.
• Receive direction for house calls via radio.
• Understand Omni fire alarm procedures, other emergencies, and hotel rules.
• Follow OSHA rules and Omni policies during daily operations.
