Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. This evening shift position offers exposure to triage, main ED and cardiac/trauma care with a strong emphasis on teamwork and continuous improvement.

Candidates must hold an active NJ RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with ED or acute care experience desirable and EMR experience including EPIC.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred; ED/acute care experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, intervening early.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Serve as clinical partner to physicians, offering insight for timely, well-coordinated decisions.
• Educate patients and families clearly, ensuring they feel informed and supported.
