Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking an Electronic Technician I for evening shift to assemble, troubleshoot, connect and test electronic assemblies of basic to moderate complexity at our Romeoville facility. You will read mechanical and electrical drawings, use schematics and Gerber files, and assist with training new employees as needed.

Qualifications include basic computer skills, English comprehension, and 1–2 years in electronics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years electronics technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble junction boxes, electronic controls and other assemblies per drawings.
• Install and test completed electronic assemblies.
• Inspect final electronics checkout and ensure proper installation and test.
