Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is hiring an Electronic Technician I to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies of basic to moderate complexity. You will read drawings, interpret BOMs, and use Gerber files to ensure accurate builds.

You will install and verify assemblies, inspect work for quality, and document actions in production forms. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to procedures in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years electronics technician experience preferred.
• Read/interpret drawings, BOMs, schematics, and Gerber files.
• Must understand verbal and written English instructions.
• Ability to safety-use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble junction boxes, electronic controls and other assemblies per drawings.
• Install and test completed electronic assemblies.
• Inspect and act as final electronics inspector for checkout.
• Troubleshoot electronics for production and aftermarket support.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
