Job summary

G&W Electric Co in Bolingbrook, IL, seeks an Electronic Technician I to assemble junction boxes and electronic assemblies, install and test finished units, inspect final checkout, and troubleshoot for production and aftermarkets.

You will read drawings, BOMs, wiring diagrams, and schematics; perform bench troubleshooting, and help train new staff. Requires HS diploma; associate degree preferred; 1–2 years’ experience desirable. Pay is $25–$27/hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Associate’s degree in Electronics Technology or related discipline preferred.
• 1–2 years electronics technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble junction boxes, electronic controls and other assemblies per drawings.
• Install and test completed assemblies.
• Inspect final electronics checkout and document actions.
• Troubleshoot assemblies for production and aftermarket support.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment.
