Job summary

JLL seeks a skilled Electrician (2nd Shift) in Franklin, MA to maintain, repair, and support critical electrical systems within a commercial facility. You will work with an experienced engineering team to ensure safe, reliable building operations and support tenant needs.

The role requires a Massachusetts license, at least 1 year of hands-on electrical experience, and the ability to read drawings and schematics. This is an on-site, full-time role with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on electrical experience.
• Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• Completed electrical apprenticeship or trade school.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, MA electrical codes, and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and building controls.
• Monitor and service electrical panels, switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, UPS systems, and generators.
• Respond to electrical service requests and complete work orders using a CMMS system.
• Perform preventative maintenance and electrical testing (voltage, amperage, continuity, resistance).
• Support building operations with minor general maintenance tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and oversee contractor work related to electrical systems.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and communicate effectively with site leadership and occupants.
