Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking an experienced ED RN to join the Off Campus Emergency Department team. This role uses specialized nursing skills in a multidisciplinary setting across Washington communities.

The position supports evening 12-hour shifts, with opportunities for tuition assistance and ongoing professional growth, while offering comprehensive benefits and an emphasis on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS, PALS certifications.
• NRP required within 90 days of hire.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• Two years full-time RN experience in ED or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver care using the nursing process per hospital policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost efficiency.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
