Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a staff RN for the Emergency Department at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane. The role supports a multidisciplinary team delivering bedside care with a nursing process framework and a focus on quality, safety and patient experience.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, WA RN license, BLS and other required certifications; ED experience is preferred. The schedule features 12-hour day shifts with alternating weekends and a 0.9 FTE commitment.

Qualifications

• RN license active in WA or MLS equivalent.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS as required by department.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; MSN/PhD/DNP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per policies and protocols.
• Collaborate to improve quality of care, patient experience and costs.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care for diverse patients.
