Job summary

MultiCare Off-Campus Emergency Department (OCED) in Washington seeks an experienced ED RN to join our team. This role combines specialized nursing care with a multidisciplinary approach in a community-focused setting.

The position requires 1+ year of ED nursing experience, current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and readiness to obtain ACLS/NRP within 90 days. FTE 0.75 with 12-hour night shifts and alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency nursing experience is required.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Two years full-time RN experience in ER or other comparable experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver care using the nursing process per hospital policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and the health care team.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
