You will verify freight documentation, secure loads, assist customers, and perform hostling duties as needed while complying with regulations and company policies. The role involves working in a fast-paced dock environment with varying hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior warehousing or freight handling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to ~75 pounds and operate dock equipment.
• Basic math, reading comprehension, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, pallet jack and hand truck to move freight.
• Verify documentation matches freight description.
• Secure freight inside trailers using straps and pallets.
• Recoup or repair damaged freight when needed.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Assist customers with freight and freight documentation.
• Perform hostling duties when required.
• Comply with laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
