Job summary

The Arc Ocean County Chapter is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for evening shifts in our Residential Services. You will assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with routines, meals, personal care, and daily activities in a home-like setting.

We provide paid training and opportunities for growth. Evening shifts 3:00 PM-11:00 PM with weekend availability, and competitive pay of $20.70-$24.70 per hour for both full-time and part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid New Jersey driver's license in good standing
• Ability to complete background checks and onboarding
• Strong communication and professionalism, with good judgment
• Demonstrated employment stability with prior employer

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with evening routines, meals, personal care, medication administration, housekeeping, and daily living tasks
• Maintain a clean, welcoming home environment and encourage independence
• Support participation in hobbies, activities, and community outings
• Document care activities and maintain accurate records
• Communicate with supervisors, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality support
