Job summary

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in evening routines and community participation. The role offers meaningful, home-based support within our Residential Services team.

We provide paid training and opportunities for growth, with evening shifts from 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and weekly pay. Join a supportive team making a real difference in people’s lives.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to complete background checks and onboarding requirements.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals with evening routines, meal prep, personal care, medication administration, housekeeping and daily living activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming home environment.
• Encourage healthy routines and greater independence.
• Respect personal preferences while supporting independence at home.
