Job summary

The Arc Ocean County Chapter in Toms River, NJ is seeking an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across residential programs in Toms River, Barnegat, Lacey Township, and Brick.

This full-time day-shift opportunity features a starting pay of $20.70 per hour and earnings up to $22.70 per hour with shift differentials and overtime, working 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM in multiple NJ locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of prior DSP experience.
• Medical case management experience preferred.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license with minimal demerits.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support in residential settings and assist with daily living needs.
• Assist with personal care, meal prep, medication support, transportation, and household tasks.
• Reinforce routines, independence skills, and daily living goals.
• Document daily notes and communicate with supervisors for continuity of care.
