Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or two+ years' experience with developmentally disabled individuals.
• Must have a valid Arkansas Driver's License or driving eligibility.
• Ability to read and write simple communications and effectively convey information to clients and staff.
• Ability to perform daily living tasks, document care, and follow care plans.
• Ability to maintain records and adhere to Medicaid guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with basic living skills and daily tasks such as showering, dressing, housekeeping, shopping, meals and budgeting.
• Provide transportation to activities and appointments when needed.
• Maintain communication via logs and meetings regarding client needs and progress.
• Complete required documentation (reports, forms, progress notes, logs) accurately.
• Follow medication management guidelines and monitor procedures.
• Organize recreational activities and model appropriate behavior.
• Support facility and vehicle maintenance and participate in trainings.
