Job summary

R+L Carriers in Burlington Township, NJ is hiring a Diesel Mechanic for 2nd shift (4:00 pm to 2:30 am), full-time, with a pay range of $34.11–$42.93 per hour. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and related equipment, including occasional welding.

Candidates should have diesel engine maintenance experience, be able to handle major repairs, and be comfortable with AC and electrical work. Tools are personal; must lift up to 50 lbs.

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
• Must be able to handle major repairs.
• Experience with AC and Electrical systems.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have own tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day equipment maintenance on fleet including trucks, trailers, and related gear.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on Class 8 vehicles and equipment.
• Welding and related tasks as required by location.
