Job summary

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic at our Hatfield Service Center in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on day-to-day maintenance of fleet equipment, including preventative maintenance and repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and possibly forklifts, with welding depending on location.

The position is full-time, on the 2nd/3rd shift (Mon-Fri) with vacation after 90 days and a robust benefits package including employee resorts.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
• Must be able to handle major repairs.
• Experience with AC and Electrical.
• Have the ability to lift 50lbs.
• Must have own tools.
• 2+ years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred.
• Experience with Cummins & Detroit engines.
• Experience using Cetaris used for work orders.
• Experience in trailer PMs and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day equipment maintenance on fleet equipment including preventative maintenance and repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and possibly forklifts.
• Maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, welding depending on location.
