Job summary

R+L Carriers in Manchester, NH is hiring a Diesel Mechanic for the 2nd shift (3:00 pm–1:30 am), full-time. You will maintain Class 8 trucks, trailers, and related equipment, including preventive maintenance and major repairs as needed.

Candidates should have diesel engine PM experience, the ability to perform major repairs, and familiarity with AC and electrical systems. Must have own tools and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
• Able to perform major repairs on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
• Experience with AC and Electrical systems

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance on fleet equipment including PMs and repairs to Class 8 trucks and trailers
• Possible welding and related tasks as needed at the service center
