Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Joplin, MO is seeking a skilled technician to maintain and repair a Diesel and CNG fleet. You will diagnose, repair, and test drive trucks, perform brake and emission inspections, and ensure all safety regulations are followed.

The role requires 3+ years of diesel/CNG maintenance experience, and CDL (Class A or B) is preferred or obtainable within six months. ASE certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel/CNG maintenance experience.
• CDL Class A or B preferred, or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT/OSHA and related regs.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain Diesel and CNG fleet under supervision.
• Perform basic inspections of brake, engine, emission and steering systems.
• Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform electronic diagnostics and repair electrical/hydraulic systems.
• Conduct DOT and brake inspections on all vehicles.
• Prepare reports and order parts; complete daily administrative tasks.
