Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. seeks a Diesel/CNG Fleet Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain our diesel and CNG vehicles, ensuring they stay safe and road-ready.

Under supervision, you will conduct inspections, test drive trucks, perform electronic diagnostics, and complete all maintenance documentation. A CDL is preferred, ASE certifications are a plus, and 3+ years of relevant maintenance experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance manuals.
• Proficient in basic diagnostics and electronic repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain GFL’s Diesel and CNG fleet.
• Perform basic inspections of brakes, engines, emissions, steering and wheel bearings.
• Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions and verify repairs.
• Perform DOT and brake inspections on all vehicles.
• Complete reports, work orders, and parts orders daily.
