Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking an experienced diesel and CNG fleet mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain our fleet to road-ready condition. The role operates under shop leadership with a focus on safety and compliance.

You will conduct inspections, perform diagnostics with certified tools, and complete DOT/OSHA related tasks while maintaining a clean work area and participating in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining diesel and CNG fleets.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read repair manuals and diagnose systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain Diesel and CNG fleet.
• Perform inspections of brake, engine, emission, steering and other components.
• Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions.
