Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Operations Manager in Riverside, CA. You will lead Area Managers across inbound, outbound, and related DC functions, ensuring safe, efficient handling of receipts, storage, packing and shipping to stores on schedule.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in a high-volume distribution setting, strong leadership, and experience with WMS and distribution equipment. This role offers a full-time schedule with evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years leading in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Knowledge of supply chain, distribution, warehouse, transportation, and inventory.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience with WMS, distribution technology, and distribution equipment (conveyors, MHE).
• Able to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational excellence in all warehouse areas and maintain efficient warehouse operations.
• Lead Area Managers and optimize staffing and efficiency for timely product movement.
• Design and implement cost-control systems in a dynamic business environment.
• Coach and develop team members with on-floor and formal feedback.
• Coordinate delivery schedules to maximize store service and efficiency.
• Maintain a safe workplace and enforce Burlington safety policies.
