Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Distribution Center Area Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced NJ DC. You will lead a team of Distribution Center Associates, ensure accurate receiving, storage, packing and shipping, and drive performance with data-driven coaching.

Qualifications include 3+ years of leadership in distribution, a Bachelor's in a related field, WMS and MS Office proficiency, and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring/coaching and development initiatives.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to read and interpret policies and operate DC systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes productivity data to drive team performance.
• Leads and champions Burlington’s core values in a live DC setting.
• Manages cross-functional and interdepartmental projects.
• Provides coaching and development while ensuring safety and policy compliance.
