Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a DC Area Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a team of associates in shipping, receiving, and storage tasks.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to company policies, with a schedule of Friday–Sunday 5:00pm–5:00am in a fast-paced distribution center environment. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in a high-volume DC, and strong leadership, coaching, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of education and experience
• 3+ years’ experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment
• Management/leadership experience in a supply chain distribution center environment
• Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring/coaching and development initiatives
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Warehouse Management Systems preferred
• Able to read and interpret necessary policies and procedures to perform updates and operate systems and other programs within the Distribution Center
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including the Mezzanine platforms
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more and the ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Bi-lingual a plus

Responsibilities

• Analyzes productivity, efficiency, and accuracy data to lead and drive team performance excellence and maximize individual team member performance and potential.
• Leads and acts as an ambassador for Burlington’s Core Values, fostering an engaging, professional, and inclusive team environment.
• Acts as a catalyst and action driver for complex, cross-functional, and interdepartmental assignments and special projects.
• Practices everyday development by providing feedback, coaching, and development to their team – and receiving the same for oneself.
