Job summary

Laundry Capital is seeking a Customer Service Associate for the 4 PM–12 AM shift in New York, NY. You will assist customers with laundry cards, machine selection, and purchases while maintaining a clean, safe store and delivering friendly service.

Requirements include the ability to stand 8+ hours, lift up to 35 pounds, and work overnight with a positive, team-oriented attitude. Prior retail/customer service experience is preferred and employees enjoy discounts and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work overnight.

• Professional communication with customers and associates.
• Ability to work well with others and stay calm under pressure.
• Prior customer service or retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with laundry cards, machine selection and operation, and sales purchases.
• Operate cash register or POS system accurately.
• Know product uses and upsell accordingly.
• Keep retail items neatly stocked and notify management when low.
• Use log books to report maintenance issues and safety concerns.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness inside the store at all times.
• Follow company policies and attendance rules and wear clean uniform.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain safe store environment.
• Keep floors clean and pick up debris during shifts.
