Job summary

Eastern Carver County Schools is seeking an Evening Custodian at Clover Ridge Elementary. Under supervision, you will perform cleaning tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and help maintain a safe, healthy school environment for students and staff.

This full-time, year-round position offers a 2:00pm–10:30pm schedule, weekend off with overtime eligibility, and a base pay of $23.25 per hour plus a $0.40 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in cleaning and building maintenance.
• Able to lift 70 lbs waist height occasionally and 50 lbs to chest height regularly.
• Must be in good general health.
• Experience working with cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks and operate cleaning equipment to maintain facilities.
• Maintain safety and compliance with building and fire codes.
• Assist in overseeing grounds and custodial tasks as assigned.

Position Start Date: ASAP

Days/Hours: Monday - Friday; 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Salary: $23.25/hr. + $0.40/hr. shift differential

Responsible To: Director of Buildings & Grounds

Position Purpose: Under general supervision, perform cleaning tasks and operation of various types of cleaning equipment to care for and maintain assigned buildings and related facilities.

Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment: This position is posted as a full-time (40 hrs/week), twelve (12) month position. In addition, the pay includes additional compensation for each level of boilers license and other applicable licenses when licenses are obtained. Eligible for benefits as negotiated with Union Local 70 and District 112 plus enrollment in Minnesota's largest retirementpension! This position is eligible for overtime and comp time.
