Custodian - Elementary Center Night Lead (Job ID: 2332)

Date Available: ASAP

Job Summary

This is an 8 hour/day position. The Night Lead Custodian ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff while providing vital evening leadership.

• Motivates custodians to deliver a clean and safe environment for teachers, students, and staff.
• Collaborates with Buildings and Grounds leadership and building principals to identify priorities.
• Adjusts to the needs of supervisors and principals to meet cleaning objectives.
• Monitors equipment and supplies to avoid delays in service delivery.
• Collaborates with other custodial team members to provide support.
• Assists with set-up and take-down of school activities.
• Performs routine and project cleaning of assigned areas.
• Keeps sidewalks and other outdoor walkways clear of snow and ice.
• Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as assigned or as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Pool Operator license required (or ability to obtain).
• Appropriate boiler license required (or ability to obtain).

• Experience cleaning in a commercial setting preferred.

• Ability to stand and/or walk, twist, bend, stoop, squat, and/or climb stairs.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Wage: $22.56-$25.07
