Job summary

HES is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to lead daily cleaning operations for educational facilities. You will supervise custodians, schedule tasks, ensure safety compliance and provide on‑the‑job training to new staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating work orders, managing supplies and equipment, and handling emergencies with the management team. Strong leadership and communication are essential for delivering high‑quality service to client partners.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising custodial staff and safety compliance.
• Ability to train staff on safety and equipment use.
• Strong planning and daily work scheduling skills.
• Effective communication with staff and management.
• Knowledge of incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Ability to manage supplies and consumables for a team.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and coordinates key personnel and processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Organizes, schedules, assigns and performs daily work routines; lead for safety.
• Trains employees on safety aspects and PPE usage.
• Investigates injuries and reports concerns.
• Provides on‑the‑job training and coaching for staff.
• Manages equipment, supplies, and chemicals needed by staff.
• Communicates requests and work orders; coordinates building emergencies.
• Plans and supervises major cleaning operations and projects.
• Supervises custodians daily for quality and quantity of work.
