Job summary

Central Maine Long Term Care, Inc. offers per diem evening shifts for Certified Residential Medication Aides (CRMA).

Administer medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following state and federal rules and facility policies. Candidates must have High School Diploma, Residential Care Specialist 1 or Personal Support Specialist certificate, and a 40-hour medication administration certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Residential Care Specialist 1 or Personal Support Specialist certificate.
• 40-hour certificated medication administration certification.
• Prior long-term care resident care experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills to administer medication accurately.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse and in accordance with rules and facility policy.
• Performs routine daily tasks to maintain residents' health, comfort, and well-being.
• Communicates with residents, families, medical professionals and facility staff; may consult charge nurse or administrator as needed.
• Performs resident care when not assigned as CRMA.
