Job summary

Central Maine Healthcare seeks a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) for per diem evening shifts in Maine facilities. You will administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse and support residents’ health and comfort.

Required are a High School Diploma, state-certified 40-hour medication administration certification, and a Residential Care Specialist 1 or PSS certificate, with prior long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Residential Care Specialist 1 or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) Certificate required.
• Must have state approved 40-hour certificated medication administration certification.
• Previous experience in long-term care resident care is preferred.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills to correctly administer medication doses.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications to residents under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Performs resident care tasks and supports well-being per facility policies.
• Coordinates with residents, families, and medical staff; follows state and federal regulations.
