Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Residential Care Specialist 1 or Personal Support Specialist Certificate is required or can be trained within 4 months.
• Must have state approved 40-hour certificated medication administration certification.
• Previous experience in long-term care resident care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications to residents under licensed supervision.
• Performs routine daily tasks to maintain health, comfort, and well-being of residents.
• Communicates with residents, families, medical staff, and other facility personnel as needed.
