Job summary

Central Maine Long Term Care, Inc is seeking a Per Diem CRMA to administer medications to residents under licensed nurse direction in a long-term care setting in Auburn, ME. The role supports resident health, comfort, and safety with a flexible shift schedule.

The ideal candidate will hold a Residential Care Specialist 1 or PSS certificate and a state-approved 40-hour medication administration certification, with prior long-term care experience preferred. Per diem status with variable shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a Residential Care Specialist 1, or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) Certificate. May be trained within 4 months of employment.
• Must have state approved 40-hour certificated medication administration certification.
• Previous experience in long-term care resident care is preferred.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills to be able to accurately administer proper medication dosage.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Performs routine daily tasks to maintain residents' health, comfort, and well-being.
• Works with residents, families, medical professionals, and other facility staff.
• Assists with resident care when not serving as a CRMA.
