Job summary

Greater Nashua Mental Health is seeking an Evening Split Shift Emergency Services Clinician in Nashua, NH to provide crisis intervention and stabilization. You’ll work 7:00 PM–3:00 AM, collaborating with responders and healthcare partners to prevent hospitalization and manage crises in multiple settings.

The role requires a Master’s in a mental health field and 1–2 years of emergency experience, with strong de-escalation, documentation, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant emergency psychiatric experience.
• Experience with de-escalation and crisis intervention.
• Ability to document assessments and coordinate care electronically.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency crisis evaluations and short-term crisis counseling.
• Perform assessments in clinic, homes, hospitals, community settings.
• Coordinate with first responders, healthcare providers, and community agencies.
• Complete documentation within 3 business days.
• Attend team and supervision meetings.
• Be flexible to staff 24/7 shifts.
